What we build
Sometimes an organization needs a seasoned perspective at the decision table. Sometimes it needs an experienced leader to carry an agreed set of operating or sales responsibilities for a period. These are different needs, and we scope them differently.
Executive advisory keeps management responsibility with your leadership team — we bring recommendations, decision support, and coaching. Fractional leadership is different: MSG leads agreed functions with clearly defined responsibilities, authority, and availability.
Capacity, responsibilities, decision authority, and executive sponsorship are agreed in every engagement. Part-time capacity is not unrestricted full-time coverage, and not every capability is included in every engagement.
Executive Advisory
Recommendations, decision support, and coaching while your leadership team retains management responsibility. Advisory work fits leaders facing consequential decisions — growth bets, restructures, leadership transitions — who want an experienced operator's perspective without handing over the wheel.
Fractional COO
MSG leads agreed operating functions — management cadence, cross-functional coordination, and execution priorities — within defined capacity and authority. See the dedicated Fractional COO page for how the role works, what it covers, and how scope is set.
Fractional Sales Leadership
MSG leads agreed sales activities — strategy, team cadence, coaching, forecasting, pipeline reviews, and priority deal support. It does not include dedicated prospecting staff, all selling activity, recruiting execution, or CRM implementation unless expressly scoped. Where the need is contracted outreach and qualification execution rather than sales leadership, see our Business Development & Revenue Operations practice.
Problems We Solve
Where execution usually breaks
- Consequential decisions are being made without an experienced operator's perspective at the table.
- The organization needs operating or sales leadership but isn't ready for a permanent executive hire.
- A leadership transition or departure has left a capability gap at the top.
- The owner is still the decision-maker of last resort on everything.
- Sales or operations lack senior direction, cadence, and accountability.
